HCMx Radio 50: Neuroscience Research-Based Methods That Help You Learn Faster

In the latest episode of HCMx Radio, Brandon Hall Group’s Rachel Cooke interviews Dr. Grace Chang, Director of Research and Development for The Regis Company. Among the topics they discuss is the work of Nobel Prize winner Daniel Kahneman. Kahneman authored the book, Thinking Fast and Slow, where he describes the brain as having two systems that function differently – System 1 (fast) and System 2 (slow). System 1 is when your brain is on autopilot and responds quickly to things that are familiar and habit-driven – like getting dressed. System 1 can be helpful but also problematic in the workplace.
