A collaborative culture has been in place at Duke Realty for over 30 years and the organization was determined to maintain the core values even while associates were physically separated due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In addition to the pandemic, Duke Realty faced the racial unrest head-on. It was important to show the associates that the company stands up for equality and that it was important for all of the associates to have an opportunity to discuss this important social issue. Duke Realty was honored with a Gold Award for Best Advance for Leading Under a Crisis in the 2021 Brandon Hall Group HCM Excellence Awards.
