GSK Takes Innovative Approach to Addressing Gender Imbalance (2018 Case Study)
“Accelerating Difference: An Innovative Approach to Addressing Gender Imbalance” focuses on GSK’s 12-month, global women’s leadership development program, originally launched in 2013 to help high-performing, mid-to-senior-level female leaders progress into senior leadership roles. Designed to build participants’ self-awareness, confidence and social capital, the program has also delivered on key business objectives, helping increase the percentage of women in leadership positions, retain top female talent and create a career progression pipeline for 430 female leaders to date. GSK won a Silver Award for Best Advance in Women’s Leadership Development in the 2018 Brandon Hall Group HCM Excellence Awards.
