GSK’s Global Onboarding Program is one of the largest and most ambitious onboarding projects ever implemented in GSK, whereby an entire program was designed from the ground up for one of the company’s biggest divisions, Global Manufacturing and Supply. This transformative initiative has turned a fragmented, disparate induction program into one that has re-engaged employees with its wider company vision and contributed to site output increases — sometimes by as much as 50%. By offering a robust global framework and delivering engaging, blended multi-channel learning that is adapted to local cultures, the program has driven a complete turnaround and subsequently been rolled out to 100% of GSK’s sites across the world. GSK won a Silver Award for Best New Hire Onboarding Program in the 2018 Brandon Hall Group HCM Excellence Awards.
