Reskilling and Upskilling to Stop the Great Resignation (Webinar)
- Brandon Hall Group
- Learning and Development, Human Resources
The great resignation is real. About 84% of companies in a recent Brandon Hall Group study said that talent attrition will correlate to some degree to the type of work environment that exists – remote, onsite, or hybrid. Within this new dynamic, companies need to build strategies to retain top talent, and keep the organization humming in the face of turnover.
Reskilling and upskilling the workforce is proving to be a remedy for the Great Resignation. Companies with strong development opportunities for their employees are more likely to attract and retain talent. Additionally, having a solid framework for building skills means the organization will have the talent mobility to adapt to any gaps created by attrition.
Watch this webinar replay with David Wentworth, Principal Learning Analyst with Brandon Hall Group, and Matt Bradley, Senior Learning and Development Advisor at OpenSesame, as they look at the implications of the Great Resignation and how organizations can leverage their learning strategy to keep the workforce engaged, agile and effective.
Discussion topics include:
• The current state of skills and the impact of the pandemic
• What employees need and want in this environment
• Providing learning opportunities
• Examples of upskilling and reskilling strategies
