Scotiabank Promotes a Compliance Culture With Impactful eLearning

After rebranding itself as a partner and consultant for stakeholders, Scotiabank’s Global Learning Team took over the compliance program and redesigned it to promote a risk culture that thinks first and acts second. To have such impact, the team created a shorter, more-memorable learning experience that has translated into better recall and application. The program uses real-life scenarios that defines boundaries and limits and increases awareness of how employee actions impact customers, other employees, and the bank. Scotiabank earned a Bronze Award for Best Advance in a Compliance Training Program in the 2017 Brandon Hall Group HCM Excellence Awards.
