Applying Engagement to Employee Performance Makes a Business Difference (2018 KnowledgeGraphic)
Seven out of every 10 organizations see employee engagement as a strategic priority, according to Brandon Hall Group’s 2018 Employee Engagement Study. But only organizations that link or apply engagement to employee performance see a significant impact on business results. Applying engagement to performance means using results from engagement efforts, such as surveys, to take action — such as training or coaching/mentoring — to address the challenges found in the engagement efforts. Doing so gives organizations a distinct competitive advantage. For instance, organizations that apply engagement to employee performance are almost 3 times more likely to have most of their employees actively promote the organization internally and externally.
