ABSA’s Capability Development Program Increases Employee Engagement, Revenue (2018 Case Study)
ABSA Group Ltd., in partnership with BTS and Grow Consulting, developed the Capability Development Program (CDP), which is an immersive and integrated leadership program combining business and leadership in a fully integrated process. The program was designed to build capability in the branch managers and area heads in the business to successfully transform the organization to meet the challenges of an evolving financial services landscape with increasingly demanding customers. A key aspect of the CDP was to build the managers’ capability to deliver the desired business results through others — engaging the branch managers and area heads as facilitators and coaches of performance and results — enabling their teams to deliver the required results. ABSA Group Ltd. won a Bronze Award for Best Unique or Innovative Leadership Development Program in the 2018 Brandon Hall Group HCM Excellence Awards.
