Appical’s Newest App Integrates Managers Into Onboarding Strategy (Tech Review)
Appical, known for its employee-centric app for onboarding new hires, added Manager App to its portfolio to make it easy for managers to track the progress of their new hires no matter how many there are. Managers simply use their smart phones to follow and inspire new hires with “Smile,” “Thumbs Up,” or “Booster” emojis or personal messages. Managers get such information as new hires’ scores and check lists and practical tips for themselves. The app was co-created with managers from large enterprises that onboard dozens of employees a month. Appical’s innovation earned a Bronze Award for Best Advance in Onboarding Technology in the 2017 Brandon Hall Group Excellence in Technology Awards.
