Bayer Turns Compliance Training Into Video Game (2017 Case Study)

When Bayer AG identified nine legal risk areas, a team from compliance, legal, and HR created a video game with real-life scenarios to train employees on the Corporate Compliance Policy. The video used more than 60 Bayer employees as actors and was filmed on Bayer premises. After each situation, the film stops and asks learners to make an active decision on what to do/how to react. Learners must earn a certain number of stars at each level to go to the next part of the video game. Bayer earned a Silver Award for Best Use of Games or Simulations in the 2017 Brandon Hall Group HCM Excellence Awards.
