Bayer’s SkillCamp Personalizes Learning Path (2018 Case Study)

Bayer’s SkillCamp is a learning initiative that focuses on making learning relevant for the individual and the tasks and challenges faced daily on the job. To respond to this goal in the best way possible, SkillCamp is designed according to the “Five Moments of Need” performance support methodology by Conrad Gottfredson and Bob Mosher. In 2017, SkillCamp enhanced the performance support approach by introducing “mySkillCamp,” a personalized learning path that enables learners to boost their performance while learning on the job with SkillCamp. Bayer won a Gold Award for Best Use of Blended Learning in the 2018 Brandon Hall Group HCM Excellence Awards.
