Datto completely rebuilt its customer service training program after the CEO called technical support and had an unsatisfactory experience. This resulted in the development and delivery of a customer service audit, a full-day new-hire boot camp, a train-the-trainer program and a video series of customer service shorts. Datto won a Silver Award for Best Advance in Competencies and Skill Development in the 2018 Brandon Hall Group HCM Excellence Awards.
