Fluor’s Multi-Step Training Videos Expand on Techniques to Improve Negotiating Skills (2018 Case Study)

The Fluor Corporation and TwentyEighty Strategy Execution developed a multi-step negotiation skills training program with the objectives to: improve negotiation skills for procurement professionals in the supply chain management group; deliver the best value to its stakeholders; and realize a negotiated savings of 3% to 7% in all negotiations. By demonstrating, repeating and practicing these techniques, learners are better able to remember and put into daily practice these techniques so that they can improve negotiations, deliver best value and realize a negotiated savings in negotiations moving forward — the three original goals of the program. The Fluor Corporation won a Silver Award for Best Use of Video in the 2018 Brandon Hall Group HCM Excellence Awards.
