Hershey Uses VR to Engage Learners on Food Safety (2018 Case Study)

This project Hindsight is a joint collaboration between The Hershey Company and Sage Media. It is a modular three-part interactive learning experience designed to facilitate holistic decision making concerning food safety within Hershey leadership. Based on the learning objective, Sage Media designed a mixed-media training tool that blended interactive 360-degree VR-photography, still imagery and cinematic narrative film. The focus was on creating an experience that was inductive in nature, instead of deductive. The Hersey Company won a Silver Award for Best Advance in Custom Content in the 2018 Brandon Hall Group HCM Excellence Awards.
