The HTA is one of the 10 agencies under the MHA, also known as the Home Team (HT). HTA as the Corporate University (CU) for the MHA has a crucial role and primary responsibility to develop and implement quality leadership development strategies to enhance Home Team leaders’ capabilities and skillsets in driving organisational transformation effectively for continued mission success in keeping Singapore safe and secure.
HTA is also working towards being a Centre of Excellence (CoE) in ‘Leadership Development in Public Safety and Security’ at the Whole-of-Government (WOG) and international levels by 2025, to take the lead and strategically drive and synergise a network of established institutions and strategic partners with expertise resources and knowledge to propel HT leadership development and enhance WOG leadership in crisis management.
