Indigo Books and Music needed to simplify its application process and create an easy-to-use, personalized candidate experience and new-hire onboarding. The company employs 6,200 people throughout Canada, and Indigo leaders wanted to keep pace with the increasingly mobile workforce. Candidates can use their phones to hop onto the career site, apply for a position, check status, and communicate using a real contact name, giving an intimate feeling to the interaction. Indigo then extends the candidate experience into a seamless onboarding journey. Indigo earned a Bronze Award for Best Advance in Talent Acquisition Process in the 2017 Brandon Hall Group Excellence Awards.
