INSTEP’s Innovative Panel Operator Certification Powers Excellence (Case Study)
INSTEP’s Panel Operator Training & Certification Program (POTCP) delivers comprehensive technical training for petroleum industry operators through experiential learning, simulation-based training, and standardized assessment methodology. The program combines classroom instruction, hands-on experience with Distributed Control Systems (DCS), and practical training at their Upstream Downstream Training Plant. With a focus on process safety management and operational excellence, POTCP has trained over 6,000 PETRONAS panel operators since 2013, creating a sustainable pipeline of certified technical talent across 50 countries.
