Uncertain events and crisis situations have serious consequences. OVA developed realistic Virtual Reality crisis training to ensure first responders have the skills and are ready to handle emergency situations. OVA’s crisis management training tests responders’ knowledge, skills and abilities, assessing perceptions of teamwork, job risk, and training and equipment adequacy. Through VR simulation, the necessary cognitive skills to turn a team of experts into an expert team are developed safely. OVA earned a Silver Award for Best Advance in Unique Learning Technology in the 2017 Brandon Hall Group Technology Awards.
