Presidio Institute Teaches Collaboration Across Broad Sectors

The need to develop collaboration skills among business, non-profit, and governmental leaders began as a conversation at a 2012 White House Innovation Summit among representatives of the Presidio Institute, American Express, and the Annie E. Casey Foundation. They recognized that today’s problems often require a combination of efforts among leaders. Using the NovoEd LMS, the Institute took the lead to develop three Cross-Sector Leadership courses to teach participants how to build teams, align motivation, and share information across different organizations to drive change. This earned Presidio Institute a Silver Award for Best Advance in Creating an Extended Enterprise Learning Program in the 2017 Brandon Hall Group HCM Excellence Awards.
