SAP Powers Recruitment with Assessment Game and Facebook App (Tech Review)

To find candidates who fit SAP’s culture and roles, the HR team developed a three-prong strategy: a recruitment game, an assessment Facebook app and a traditional assessment at the time of application. Each year, SAP hires 5,000-6,000 graduates and professionals just building careers when there is less to differentiate them. The new strategy helps remove recruiter subjectivity in the selection process and revolutionizes the candidate experience by giving them immediate feedback on their fit to SAP. The Facebook app assesses an applicant’s personality profile and the recruitment game demonstrates life at SAP. This innovation earned SAP a Gold Award for Best Advance in Recruitment Marketing Technology in the 2017 Brandon Hall Group Excellence in Technology Awards.
