Siemens AG spent two years evaluating the impact of staggering changes in healthcare before creating a separate division and making it responsible for providing global, consistent training for employees and clients. The education team created a single infrastructure with multiple tools to provide content rich in interactivity, multi-media, and flexibility. With Healthcare of Tomorrow, Siemens brought all development and support activities in-house and saved millions of dollars. As it rolled out the platform, the company rebranded its training as Siemens Healthineers. The company earned a Gold Award for Best Advance in Creating an Extended Enterprise Learning Program in the 2017 Brandon Hall Group HCM Excellence Awards.
