Sodexo Builds Robust, Diverse Mentoring Program

In the 13 years since it started a diversity push, Sodexo has expanded its “Spirit of Mentoring” program to include enhancing employee retention and promotion and facilitating cross-segment talent sharing. The initiative uses structured, formal programs as well as informal mentoring. IMPACT connects high-potential managers with senior leaders; Peer2Peer mentoring occurs with Sodexo’s employee resource groups; LIFT offers mentoring for frontline employees; LEAD Mentoring Circles accelerate promotion for women and minorities with profit-and-loss responsibility. Sodexo earned a Gold Award for Best Advance in Coaching and Mentoring in the 2017 Brandon Hall Group HCM Excellence Awards.
