T-Mobile Equips Managers for Senior Leadership Roles

T-Mobile’s fast growth increased demand for strong leaders, but not enough internal candidates were prepared to fill all the new director-level roles. Magenta9 was created to develop the company’s talented managers without affecting their day-to-day work. The program has nine paths with micro-learning activities that take less than an hour a day. Each path has multiple means of engagement, and individuals select the learning method that meets their needs. Each module targets a specific skill, followed by an activity to apply on the job as managers fulfill their normal responsibilities. This earned T-Mobile a Gold Award for Best Use of Blended Learning in the 2017 Brandon Hall Group HCM Excellence Awards.
