Takeda Turkey's Marketing Trainee Program Lures High-Potentials (2017 Case Study)
With its rapid growth, Takeda Turkey needed to recruit marketers with the potential to convey scientific data and feed into managerial roles. So the HR team created a marketing trainee program and shared a campaign video across social media and universities to draw young, educated talent. The campaign reached 167,000 people, and 1,465 applied via Takeda’s interactive tool, HireVue, by recording themselves answering questions and by designing a medical-product brochure. One applicant created a “personal pillbox” brochure and described himself as a painkiller for office stress. Takeda Turkey a Silver Award for Best Advance in Talent Acquisition Process in the 2017 Brandon Hall Group HCM Excellence Awards.
