The Takeda Europe and Canada Oncology team has been through significant challenges and changes in the last two years. Following Takeda’s Shire acquisition and merger, the Oncology Business Unit changed the geographical and organizational structure. This Case Study tells the story of “ONE Oncology Team Excellence Program” and the journey of developing EUCAN Oncology leadership and regional team to become an agile, cross-functional and passionate team under pandemic conditions. Takeda was honored with a Gold Award for Best Team Development in the 2021 Brandon Hall Group HCM Excellence Awards.
