Toray Composite Materials America’s Uses Siteline for Point-of-Need Learning (2018 Case Study)
Toray Composite Materials America Inc. and AllenComm’s Siteline provides factory technicians with job-critical information and training at the point of need, using tablets strategically placed around the production floor. The app features a content library, 3D modeling, user dashboards, scanning components and skill checks and evaluations. The need for this course was driven by outdated technician training and continued growth and expansion. The result of this project is a searchable, accessible and personalized library of materials designed to reduce the overall time to proficiency. Toray Composite Materials America won a Bronze Award for Best Advance in Learning Technology Implementation in the 2018 Brandon Hall Group HCM Excellence Awards.
