Turkcell Global Bilgi Turns Leaders into Trainers to Change Culture

When Turkcell Global Bilgi needed to strengthen leadership skills, management developed an innovative program that uses “Leader Trainers” to spread the training to multiple locations, demographics, and cultures in Turkey and the Ukraine. Leader Trainers are volunteers for the Özde Lider Leadership Development Program where they learn, apply the learning, and demonstrate their teaching abilities before taking the training into their units. The goal is to change corporate culture in TGB’s call centers with leaders who spread the concept of joint leadership with their teams. Turkcell Global Bilgi earned a Silver Award for Best Advance in Leadership Development in the 2017 Brandon Hall Group HCM Excellence Awards.
