Turkcell, with the help of IMD, transformed itself from a network operator to a digital operator to respond to challenges that threatened its leading position in mobile communications in Turkey. The Turkcell Global Leadership Program equipped the company’s leaders to pursue the journey and spread a common understanding across the company. As a result, Turkcell was able to successfully complete its transformation into a digital operator in late-2018. Turkcell and IMD were honored with a Gold Award for Best Unique or Innovative Learning and Development Program in the 2019 Brandon Hall Group HCM Excellence Awards.
