Viacom18’s “Wide Angle Wednesdays,” which uses the 20% exposure part of the 70/20/10 learning model, focuses around its primary objective of bringing in a wider perspective, or outside-in perspective, to the employees. This is done by reaching out to and inviting industry veterans to share their experiences and perspectives on varied topics ranging from creative process to sales to marketing to digital and many more. Wide Angle Wednesdays have been a transformative experience for not just the participants and employees of Viacom18, but for the learning team and many leaders and speakers who have participated in these sessions over months.
