Walmart created its “Dress Code Fashion Show” video as part of Welcome to Walmart, a comprehensive onboarding program for hourly associates. The video utilized internal talent to leverage cost and was designed to take a crucial but unexciting topic (dress code) and make it both fun and memorable for associates. Walmart won a Silver Award for Best Use of Video for Learning in the 2018 Brandon Hall Group HCM Excellence Awards.
