World Bank Offers Free Certification Program in Public Procurement

World Bank leaders seek to build professionalism in public procurement around the globe with a series of free MOOC-like courses that offer certification backed by its brand. Thousands of public servants are engaged in procurement activities, but many countries don’t have the resources to train them. World Bank leveraged SME expertise to build the online, interactive curriculum and, in the three years since launch, more than 65,000 learners have enrolled for certification. World Bank earned a Bronze Award for Best Certification Program in the 2017 Brandon Hall Group HCM Excellence Awards.
