Johnson Matthey partnered with EY Lane4 to implement an innovative peer-powered leadership development program called “Play to Win Through People” that transformed their company culture and improved manager effectiveness. The program used host-leaders instead of traditional facilitators to deliver 200 workshops across 30 global locations, reaching 2,000 people managers. The initiative focused on building accountability, simplifying processes, and driving results through enhanced leadership capabilities. Data showed significant improvements in manager effectiveness, particularly for developing leaders, with measurable gains in setting clear objectives, providing feedback, and conducting development conversations.
