Marriott Scales Global Leadership Development to Reach 15,000 Leaders (Case Study)
Marriott International transformed its leadership development program through a partnership with NovoEd, scaling from reaching 3,000 to 15,000 leaders globally. The initiative introduced a blended learning approach combining virtual instruction, learning circles, and on-the-job applications. The new program, called “En Route,” features three core leadership essentials: Be Curious, Be Connected, and Be Courageous. The modernized approach helped Marriott achieve leadership index scores five points higher than Global Best Employer benchmarks and contributed to their ranking in Fortune’s top 10 Best Companies to Work For. Through cohort-based learning and the NovoEd platform, participants engage in collaborative experiences that build leadership capabilities across continents, brands, and disciplines.
