  • Draw on the CHRS competencies throughout your response, and support your recommendations with specific evidence from the scenario.
  • When your submission is complete, upload it as a Word document to the “Your Written Case Study Submission” lesson for our evaluators to score.

About Course

Phase 2 of the Certified Human Resources Strategist (CHRS) certification moves you from knowing the competencies to applying them. You’ll step into a realistic “what would you do” scenario built from a Brandon Hall Group Excellence Award-winning case study, and you’ll show how an HR strategist would respond to a real business, workforce and people challenge.

You’ll begin by reviewing all seven scenarios, drawn from award-winning programs at NTT DATA, ABB, ServiceNow, Vodafone, Intuit, SOCAR Türkiye and New York Life, and then choose the one you’d like to work on. Using that scenario, you’ll identify the business need, design a solution, explain how you would implement it, describe your change management approach and outline the expected benefits. The CHRS Excellence in Practice companion is an ideal guide for this work, because its five lenses for reading a case follow the same five parts as your submission. Our evaluators will review and score your completed submission, and once you pass, you’ll move on to Phase 3.
