IGM Financial’s Five-Hour Training Program Yields Measurable Cultural Returns (Case Study)

IGM Financial’s five-hour Allyship Training Program has made significant strides in promoting diversity and inclusion in the financial services industry. Designed for both employees and independent financial advisors, the comprehensive program equips participants with essential knowledge to become effective allies and create inclusive spaces.

The training includes articles, eLearning modules, webinars, and a learner’s workbook with reflection activities. Post-training, participants receive a digital badge recognizing their commitment to allyship. Employee engagement survey results showed strong positive sentiment, with 89% of employees believing the company has created an environment where people with diverse backgrounds can succeed. This initiative forms part of IGM’s broader DEI strategy and was the first program offered through IGM University.
