Kibar Holding’s K-Start Program bridges academic learning with real-world production challenges by providing university associate degree students with hands-on experience in blue-collar positions.
The program focuses on preparing students for industry careers through technical training, mentorship, and real work responsibilities. Since launching in 2022, K-Start has expanded its university partnerships from 3 to 6, increased applications from 179 to 339, and improved female participation in blue-collar roles from 3% to 10%. With high satisfaction rates (88% overall) and strong employment outcomes (33% retention), the program effectively develops future talent while strengthening Kibar’s employer brand.
