  • Draw on the CTAS competencies throughout your response, and support your recommendations with specific evidence from the scenario.
  • When your submission is complete, upload it as a Word document to the “Your Written Case Study Submission” lesson for our evaluators to score.

About Course

Phase 2 of the Certified Talent Acquisition Strategist (CTAS) certification moves you from knowing the competencies to applying them. You’ll step into a realistic “what would you do” scenario built from a Brandon Hall Group Excellence Award-winning case study, and you’ll show how a talent acquisition strategist would respond to a real hiring, candidate and workforce challenge.

You’ll begin by reviewing all seven scenarios, drawn from award-winning programs at Adobe, Elevance Health, Lennar, Mondelēz International, Reliance Industries (RIL E&P), U.S. Bank and Visa, and then choose the one you’d like to work on. Using that scenario, you’ll identify the business need, design a solution, explain how you would implement it, describe your change management approach and outline the expected benefits. The CTAS Excellence in Practice companion is an ideal guide for this work, because its five lenses for reading a case closely mirror the five parts of your submission. Our evaluators will review and score your completed submission, and once you pass, you’ll move on to Phase 3.
