The Certified Artificial Intelligence Transformation Specialist (CAITS) certification from Brandon Hall Group prepares HR professionals to lead the responsible, strategic adoption of AI across HR functions. Organizations are moving quickly to put AI to work, and HR leaders are expected to do far more than select tools. They are asked to assess organizational readiness, establish governance and ethics frameworks, build credible business cases, develop workforce capabilities, guide cultural change and measure the value AI creates. Drawing on data from Brandon Hall Group Excellence Award-winning organizations and real-world implementation practices, the certification is built around Brandon Hall Group’s five-phase AI Progression Model, from Reactive/Ad Hoc through Optimized HR Excellence. It positions HR as a strategic driver of AI transformation and organizational success.
The certification is completed in three phases. Phase 1 builds your foundation through 10 modules covering the full arc of AI transformation, from readiness, governance and use-case selection to change management, measurement and continuous innovation, with assessment questions in each module to validate your learning. In Phase 2, you’ll step into the role of an external AI strategy consultant for TechMark Solutions, a fast-growing technology company, and develop an executive-ready HR AI transformation plan that weighs real tradeoffs such as speed versus foundation-building. In Phase 3, you’ll turn the lens on your own organization. You’ll assess your current AI maturity and develop an actionable AI strategy you can begin implementing as soon as you complete the certification.
